New Delhi, India Snapchat, a popular social media platform, has over 500 million monthly active users, with roughly 40% of its community residing outside of North America and Europe.
Snapchat has seen over 100% (year-over-year) growth in daily active users (DAUs) in India in each of the last five quarters, the company announced late Thursday during its third Snap Partner Summit.
Snap also announced new features, updates, and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences, such as new AR tools and camera experiences, the next generation of Spectacles, and the launch of Story Studio – a new standalone app that provides powerful editing tools to mobile creators.

Snap also launched the Creator Marketplace, where brands can find and contact verified creators, beginning with top AR Lens Creators and expanding to Snap Stars and Spotlight Creators in the future.
