In the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) chargesheet obtained by Agency, actress Rhea Chakraborty claims Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka Singh and brother-in-law Siddharth used to consume marijuana with the actor and also procure it for him.
The actress also claimed, shockingly, that Sushant’s sister Priyanka gave the late actor drugs that could have killed him.
“I would also like to add that on June 8, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput received a WhatsApp message from his sister Priyanka Singh instructing him to take Librium 10 mg, Nexito, and other drugs covered by the NDPS Act 1985,” Rhea stated.
“She (Priyanka) had also provided a prescription by Dr Tarun, who is a cardiologist, and has marked Sushant as an OPD patient, without consulting, meeting, or online consultation with Sushant,” she added.
Chargesheet for Rhea Chakraborty
This, according to the actress, could be one of the reasons for his untimely death. “I would like and request that you please take note that these drugs could have resulted in his untimely death because his sister Meetu was living with him from June 8 to June 12. I also informed the Mumbai Police, who have taken note of the situation.”
Rhea also told the NCB that Sushant was addicted to marijuana and had been using it before they met.
Her chargesheet also includes the startling revelation of actress Sara Ali Khan smoking marijuana and carrying it with her.
Rhea Chakraborty, who was dating and living with Sushant Singh Rajput, has been in the spotlight since the actor’s untimely death last year. Sushant’s family filed a FIR against the actress, accusing her of aiding suicide and stealing money from the late actor. Both charges have been categorically denied by Rhea.
Rhea was imprisoned for 28 days last year in connection with the drug nexus investigated by the NCB while investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
On June 14, 2020, actor Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead in his Bandra home. It’s thought to be a suicide attempt. However, after the actor’s family and fans voiced their concerns, the case has been investigated by a number of government agencies.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigating his death, while the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is looking into the drug aspect and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is looking into the money laundering aspect.
