Because WhatsApp is one of the most widely used messaging apps in the world, it has played an important role in assisting people in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has further virtualized people’s connections, which has since become a trend.
WhatsApp has recently gotten a lot of attention because of its controversial privacy policies, which revealed what kind of data the platform collects and shares with its parent company, Facebook. Since May 15, the policy has been in effect.
