New Delhi: Ace comedian-actor Raju Srivastav, who entered politics in 2014 with the Samajwadi Party but later switched to the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) the same year. He spoke exclusively to Zee News about the threats he receives from Pakistan.

Raju Srivastav commented on Pakistani threats, saying, “These days, I am receiving death threats and derogatory language directed at my family. But we are not afraid of these things; in fact, I am proud to have been born in a Hindu Rashtra.”
“Jo Ram Ka Nahi Vo Kisi Kaam Ka Nahi,” he added (He, who does not belong to Lord Rama, is of no use).
Previously, in 2010, he reportedly received threats for making jokes about underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and Pakistan during his shows.
Raju Srivastav began his film career with minor roles in films such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, among others. He rose to prominence as a stand-up comedian after finishing second in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
Later, he triumphed in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champions, a spin-off of the original talent show. He appeared on Bigg Boss Season 3, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala Season 3, and Nach Baliye Season 6. He has also appeared on Kapil Sharma’s Comedy Nights and Mazaak Mazaak Mein, also known as ‘The Indian Mazaak League.’
