New Delhi: The West Bengal government extended restrictions across the state until July 15 due to the COVID-19 situation on Monday (June 28). According to the revised orders, the state will remain closed until July 15.
According to a state government bulletin issued on Sunday, West Bengal has registered 1,836 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The state also saw 2,022 recoveries, bringing the total to 14,55,453. With 29 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total death toll has risen to 17,612. In West Bengal, there are currently 21,884 active COVID-19 cases.
