In Delhi, the first case of rectal bleeding in COVID-19 patients has been reported.

New Delhi: On Tuesday (June 29, 2021), a Delhi hospital reported the first case of Cytomegalovirus (CMV)-related rectal bleeding in coronavirus patients.

The cases were discovered at the national capital’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and are the first report from India of CMV-related rectal bleeding in COVID-19 immunocompetent patients.
