Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath-led government is expected to expand its cabinet in the near future, according to reports. The Cabinet will be expanded for the third time in three years. According to reliable sources, the names have already been decided by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) high command and the state government.
As many as six new ministers will be appointed to the United Progressive Party’s cabinet. It is asserted that this is being done in order to achieve a more equitable ethnic balance for the upcoming Assembly elections. According to reliable sources, Jitin Prasad and Sanjay Nishad are the front-runners for the positions of six new ministers on the shortlist. There have been rumours that some other OBC figures have been included in the list.
