On day 14 of the Tokyo Olympics, the men’s hockey team and grappler Ravi Dahiya will compete for medals, while Vinesh Phogat will begin her campaign on Thursday.
The men’s hockey team will face Germany in the bronze medal match on Thursday, and if Manpreet Singh’s team wins a medal, it will be the first time in 41 years that India has done so at the Games.
Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar would also compete in Round 2 of the women’s individual stroke play. Aditi’s goal at the Games is to build on her lead and keep her campaign going strong.
Vinesh Phogat will begin her campaign against Sofia Mattinson of Sweden in the women’s 53kg freestyle event.
Sandeep Kumar, Rahul Rohilla, and Irfan K.Thodi will compete in the men’s 20km race walk final, and it will be interesting to see how the Indian team performs in this athletics event.
Ravi Dahiya will compete in his final match in the 57kg men’s freestyle category, hoping to win a gold medal at the Games. Deepak Punia will also compete for the bronze medal.
