Deepika Padukone and Farah Khan will appear as special guests on the Shaandar Shukravaar episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’. Amitabh Bachchan and Farah Khan jokingly threatened to leave the Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 stage after Deepika Padukone chose Piku as her favourite movie in the new promo for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’.
“Humare saath bhi ek durghatna ho gayi (I was in an accident),” Amitabh told Deepika and Farah Khan, the celebrity guests on KBC 13. He recalled a few years ago, at an awards show, Ranveer made a grand entrance on a crane. Amitabh stated that when the crane was a few feet away, Ranveer looked at him and made a gesture with two fingers pointing at his eyes. Amitabh stated that he had no idea what the gesture meant, so he repeated it to Ranveer. The conversation went on for a while. Ranveer even threw his microphone at one point, which Amitabh caught.
However, Amitabh later revealed that his bubble burst after his wife, yesteryear actress Jaya Bachchan, informed him of what was really going on. “Jaya ji baithi thi mera bagal mein. ‘Yeh tumhare liye nahi kar raha hai,’ Jaya leaned in and whispered, ‘Yeh tumhare liye nahi kar raha hai’ (Jaya was sitting next to me, she leaned in and whispered, ‘Yeh tumhare liye nahi kar raha hai,'” Big B then stated that he was still perplexed and asked Jaya what she meant, to which she replied that he should look beside him.
An earlier ‘KBC 13’ promo showed Amitabh calling Ranveer after Deepika complained that he never followed through on his promise to cook for her. “Sir Amitabh ne bol dia hai. Ab tujhe main godh mein bitha ke omelette khilaunga (Now that Amitabh sir has said it, I’ll force you to sit on my lap and feed you omelette), “Ranveer made a promise.
Meanwhile, following ‘Piku,’ Deepika and Amitabh will be seen sharing the screen once more in ‘The Intern.’ The film is an official Hindi remake of the same-named Hollywood film. The original film starred Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. Previously, Rishi Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were set to star in the film. However, following the unexpected death of the veteran actor, the producers enlisted Big B to fill in his shoes.
