More than 1,000 coronavirus patients are in hospital in Scotland, latest figures show.
The number of patients with recently confirmed Covid-19 has risen to 1,019, a 34-percentage-point increase from the previous day and the ninth consecutive daily increase.
88 of these patients are in intensive care, a five-day increase from the previous day.
A number of health boards have said they are experiencing unprecedented demand as a result of the recent surge in Covid cases.
Scottish government figures show the latest test positivity rate is 11.5%, up from 10.9% on the previous day.

According to the most recent figures, there were 5,912 new cases reported in the last 24 hours but no new deaths.
However, registry offices for recording death notices are typically closed on weekends.
To date, 4,140,616 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination, with 3,777,461 receiving their second dose.
